Can a Hornet be made from a .22 WMR Sport-ster?

Both the .22 WMR and .22 Hornet (and K-Hornet!) are .224 caliber.
How well would a .22 WMR Ultra Varmint Handi rechamber to a Hornet?
(The K-Hornet is what I'm really interested in, but the two are the same length).
Thanks for any input and comments.

Probably work very well, but the fireing pin will hit in the wrong place. Put the barrel on a CF frame and you will have it made. I rechambered a 17mach2 to 17 remington and it worked. Larry

A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.
