357 max
« on: July 20, 2006, 02:43:07 PM »
Hey gang,
Just got a 357 Mag barrel and wanted to make a 357 Max. I know very little about reloading except I did prime those 25acp brass to shoot in my muzzleloader. Even more important is that I need to ream that barrel. Can I get what I need from Midway or Midsouth shooters?  I tried a search on this forum but I couldn't get that function to work.  I really want to do this project and would appreciate any input.

Thanks

You can rent a reamer for $40 or so, google "reamer rental" to find sources. Or you can contact leftoverdj to see if he still has one for loan for the cost of shipping, you can find him in the members list link at the bottom of the GBO forum index, he also posts at MarlinOwners
