Anyone know if it is possible to get a gunsmith to reduce the trigger pull and creep on a model 581,pump action 22 LR?

Curt,

You can do it yourself or have a gunsmith do it for you.  What you do is put a lighter spring in  to lower the trigger pull and then stone the sear with a arkansas stone to take out the creep.
Good Shooting,

Curt,

My post applies to a 581 or 582 bolt action rifle only.  If you have a pump that is a 572 and my post doesn't apply to those.
Good Shooting,
George

Yes,you are correct it is a model 572.I previously owned a left hand 581;which my youngest now owns.
