composite or wood?
« on: March 30, 2007, 06:21:28 PM »
I just bought a 375H-H with a composite stock. I've never shot with  anything except wood. Is there anything I should know before I sight it in ? The balance is significantly different that any thing I have ever shot.

Just make sure all the stock screws are tight, then enjoy the luxury of not worrying about POI changes in wet weather.  I went to non-wood on most all my hunting  arms when I lived in southcentral Alaska and would never go back to pure wood.  Oh, I did have a few laminated stocks, they were stable too but weighed more than synthetics.
