Kudos, Matt! I always have the utmost respect for you IT guys. I once set up a server in my home network, just learning how windows server software works, etc. and within a few short hours I had been hacked 7 times, someone had even hijacked me and reconfigured it and was using it as their email server. It was shortly thereafter that I learned the world of firewalls (blackice, etc.) and I am still amazed at the world out there full of individuals with nothing better to do with their time than try to hack into systems and manipulate, hijack, or defame systems.
I work for a bank and sat on our IT committee for several years. The log reports are astounding at the unwanted activity stopped at the firewall. But even the most secure systems just pose bigger challenges to unruly and unwelcome visitors. Challenges only, but not necessarily deterrents for certain scum.
My hat is off to you doing this in background aside from your regular job also. Many of us out here just log in once and awhile and expect things to be up and running, just so we can keep a finger on the pulse of the trapping community. I love to hear the tales, tips, see a pic occasionally, here Boggie's wisdom, etc. and I often don't stop and think about the back room ops to make this free site (free to me, anyway) available. Awesome job of fighting the bogies, Matt!
