We need Rain bad
« on: July 18, 2006, 07:27:43 PM »
Not even getting excited about doing any more trout fishing as therre is no water in any of the cricks. So warm that I would guess the trout are not in the tributaries but down in the main bodies of water where they can find the deep holes or where they can find some springs.  >:(  I would bet a week of rain still would not bring the water back to the levels it should be.  >:(
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

it seems that if a cloud passes and does drop a raindrop,  it evaporates before it ever even hits the ground.  we sure could use a few solid weeks of rain.  i have never seen the lakes so low around here.

Yea and it gets frustrating to see the storms either break up before they get to us or go north or south of us. Seems southern WI is getting rain as is Northern MN up here in the indianhead country nothing. We are down at 3 plus inches of what we should be and that is allowing for the normally hot july weather. I suppose August will not be any better. Be glad when Sept comes and hunting seasons. I suppose then we will get more rain than we want.  ::)
