i sort of fell into it, inheriting my late uncles collection after he passed on. he wasn't even really a collector just a lover of country & western music. most of it it was purchased from the 40's through 60's, so there is a lot of original issues, all taken very good care of, some still have the original plastic wrappers over the cardboard sleeve. from the receipts and catalogues i also found most of it was purchased via mail from Ernest Tubb's record shop in Nashville. i've got a lot of Hank Snow, Tex Ritter, Wilf Carter and the entire Jimmie Rodgers catalog when it was reissued in a series of LP's in the late 50's-early 60's. plus a variety of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Jones and the rest of them good ole boys. is there any web source where i casn get an idea on what some of it is worth? E bay is hit and miss. any other collectors out there?
