I am looking for a scope for my T/C contender.
need a 4x or variable.
my price range is under $150.00
any suggestions. :shock:

Bushnell Trophy.

I would agree with Jamie. The Bushnell Trophy scopes are excellent scopes for the money. Another one that I like is the Weaver. I don't know how they handle up to the pounding, but their optics are impressive.

I would also have to agree about getting the trophy. I'm just not sure if they make it in a fixed 4x.

Thanks for the input.
I am leaning toward the Weaver classic 2.5-8x28 ($198.00)
or the 4x28 Weaver ( $150.00)
would these be good choice's.
I have not had good luck with bushnell in the past ( seaveral years ago).
also fixed or variable what would be better. :grin:

In the Trophy series, there is a 2x32 and a 2-6x32. And the Weaver offers a 4x28 and 2.5-8x28. Like I have said before, I am very impressed with the optics on the Weavers.

I have had good luck so far with swift pistol scopes. Worth a look.

I agree that Bushnell's had problems years ago. However, the new Bushnell's are an entirely different line. On another note, the Weaver line of handgun scopes is also a good choice. I would take a look at both and see which one you feel most comfortable with.
