i killed a beaver

i killed a beaver the other day with my slingshot at 12 yards with a 300gr 44cal bullet. the bullet did not go in but the head was soft like it had been hit with a bat. i didn't eat it because it might have rabides but, i am going to use the tail,fur ,and head. slingshot hunting is like bow hunting in that you have to get close to the game and it like your useing a Judo Point with a bow.

yeah! were gone make you register that thing..I used to make my own sling shots out of thick brazing rod.made a jig to do it.took the canteen out of its holder and went to rocky intersection and spnt a lot of time collecting round rocks and puttting em in the canvas canteen holder and with an arm full of rubber bands.off to the swamps for a day of crab hunting.

make sure you can use it for hunting in your area. Here in FL last year you could use both slingshot and airguns for hunting and now it's non-game like hogs,furbearers or unprotected species like rats.
