Nov. 15 for MI (shotgun in southern part) and the Saturday before Thanksgiving in TN. But bow season starts Oct. 1st!
You only take one shot at a time, so don't waste it :cb2:

Maryland's firearms season starts on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and goes for two weeks November 25th - Dec.9th.
But our bow season starts on September 15th and that goes until January 31st.
Muzzle loader starts October19th - 21st, and again October 23rd - 28th and a two week late season December 16th - 30th.
OH BOY IT'S GETTING CLOSE.

In Illinois,
archery-oct. 1st through jan 11th (closed during firearm seasons except for muzzleloader only)
shotgun-nov 17-19 and nov 30-dec 3 (can use muzzleloader tags during second shotgun season)
muzzleloader only dec 8-10
handgun- jan12-14

Actually they're all called firearm seasons now. They changed the laws and you can use whichever firearm you want except for muzzleloader only season. Simple huh? ::)

Wish we could use a rifle here but my mossberg 12 guage shoots pretty well, and so does my 209x50 encore. ;D

Rifle season in NW Wisconsin goes like this....The last Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday of October is antlerless only, as many as you care to shoot for 2 bucks a tag. The week of Thanksgiving, November 18-26, one buck tag and antlerless at 2 bucks again. Then anterless again December 7-10. Wow. I am glad I have a progressive press. Muzzle loader goes from Nov 27 to Dec 2, one buck tag if left over from center fire rifle season and anterless unlimited.
