Case trimmer?
« on: August 14, 2006, 07:34:04 PM »
What is a good trimmer?  Need something to trim 45-70 cases, don't have to have powered, just need accurate trimming, only do a hundred or so cases.  Was thinking of the Lee case length gauge and shell holder with the ball hand cutter.

???

Thanks

I use the Lee one on my 45-70 cases. They won't fit in my Forster trimmer, so I got a Lee trimmer and it's fine. A bit of a pain if you hand turn it, but it will eventually do the job. It's way easier if you chuck it up in a drill motor.

I use the Lee trimmer with the case holder chucked in a cordless drill. For the price it is a good little tool.
