superlight handis

i was in a local gun store this week and was handling a super light handi in 223 for the first time. this is a nifty littl gun and ive been lookin for sometihnt o keep in the yoda for shootin yotes and such around the farm and this little gun looks like it fits the bill perfect. hows accuracy and reliabilty on these models?

The ultra lites aren't as accurate as the standard barrels from what I have read here..I haven't owned any of them..so can't say first hand on the matter..

I have two Superlights; one in .223 and the other in .243. Sighting them in at the bench* proved they are both more accurate than I can hold offhand. I shoot Winchester's 45 grain JHPs in the .223 and their 100 grain Power Points in the .243.

*I've (thankfully) never been afflicted with the bech-rest malady! All my guns are subjected to my personal measure of "practical accuracy", meaning: Can my weapon and I, together, score off-hand hits on game at distances reasonable to the cartridge?

I also have standard contour barrels in .22 Hornet, .357 Magnum, 7.62x39 and .45/70, they don't offer any more practical accuracy, for me, than do the Superlights.
