TRUGLOW 2X30

I have seen this sight in a cabelas catalog and am thinking of ordering 1 to mount on a savage 24f 12g/30-30 but am wondering why it,s so cheap any body out there with any info.or feedback on this sight -please advise thanksT-T

 This sight in a word SUCKS... Jerkface11 bought one and like him I tought a 2 power red dot would be cool, NOT! Looking through the sight you have a terrible "fish eye" effect on top of the fact that 2x isn'e enough magnifacation to notice. That is if you can keep from getting sick from looking through the sight too long.

 You'll be a lot happier with a conventonal 30mm red dot

 Yeah it doesn't work very well at all. PARALAX. It's only slightly nauseating though. Imagine trying to look thru a pair of binoculars backward while riding down a country road in an old pickup. But as long as we're on the subject I've got one for sale.

I have a wallyworld $30 cheapie BSA that I like on my M38 Mosin-Nagant. It is not the best on the market but it sure is fun. I took 2 whitetails with it last season. I want to replace it with the BSA multi-reticle unit that riflescopes.com has for $56.
