I'msending my gun off to CPC and would like to glassbed it when it gets back. How does one go about bedding the recoil lug? Do you just put some bedding on that nugget the front action screw goes through?

gdragon,

The recoil lug on a 77/22H is the rear of the mag. housing in front of the trigger. Yes you bed where the frt. screw go through the frt. action ring/flat, and behind the rear of the mag. housing. After bedding relieve the hole for the frt. screw so it's not bearing on the glass anywhere.

Great, thanks. Can't wait to get it all back together to try it out. You don't by any chance have any pics of what your bedding looks like do you? I can picture what you're talking about, just don't have my whole gun here to see it in person.
thanks again
