Tar hunt Slug guns

  Anyone have experince with Tarhunt Slug Guns. I am planing to have them build a 870 mag
Slug gun . they are sulosded to shoot very well with lightfield slugs.

jcchartboy has a Tar in a 20 ga, his looks like it may be partial to the Winchester Partition Gold to me, what do you think? Tar Hunt and Lightfield are in bed with each other, so that is what they are going to recommend you shoot. Tar-hunt has been around with there bolt guns for a long time and have been building custom Remingtons for quite a few years too. They are the Holy Grail of the slug guns, but you will pay dearly for them. I have a 20 ga H&R/NEF Ultra Slug Hunter LE that cost me $202 three years ago that will hold its own. I can get most everything under 2" at 100 yards with averages in the 1-1/4' to 1-1/2" range and some groups under MOA. Best bang for your buck in the slug gun arena IMO.
