pearson bow

i have found a couple recurves that i am interested in i was wanting you guys thoughts one is a ben pearson flame hunter it is brand new except for people trying it out the store owner bought a 100 of them back in 1973 it is a #45  t/d for $125 the other is a samnick i beleive was the name and i think it was a t/d also it was #45 to  for $199 i would like your thoughts about these bows i have not got alot of cash to spend on this and wondered if you thought these were good bows and the price was fair thanks for the help

Pearson bows were well made bows. I have a couple of them left over from those long ago days including my first store bought bow ever a solid fiberglass one with 35 pound pull I bought when I was but 12 years old. It's almost 50 years old now.

I personally dislike take down bows but many love them. If it otherwise meets your needs you'll not go wrong with a Ben Pearson bow. Dunno nuttin about the other one.

thanks i was thinking of the pearson for my first recurve didn't see alot of one peice bows but wasn't looking for them so may go back and look some more

Go with the Pearson...you also might look on ebay...bought and sold alot of great old recurves on there.
