Encore 45lc and 410 ventrib barrel and scope mount????

Does the 45lc / 410 Vent Rib barrel for the encore allow a scope to be mounted?

I have handled one, but can't remember if its a vented rib or a solid rib..if vented you can use a vent rib shotgun mount..I have used one for years on my Contender..B-Square makes one and Tasco did at one time..I have one of each...Ifs it a solid rib then thats a whole new can of worms..I would think the Williams Slugger sights would be a vast improvement over the factory bead..but I can't think of way to mount scope rings..Look for shotgun sight mounts usually for slug guns..

I removed the vented rib from my .45/410 last year and mounted a scope to hunt whitetail.  Once the rib is removed, the standard encore scope base screws right on -- absolutely no problem.  This year I removed the scope, reinstalled the rib and installed the scope on a new pro hunter 7mm-08, just finished mounting the scope today and am excited to get it to the range.  Hope this helps.
