Kleenbores Cheap!
« on: May 01, 2006, 09:33:31 AM »
Today I just happened to stop in my local Dick's Sporting Goods and saw that they were dumping all their stock of Remington Kleenbore 209 primers for $0.95/100.  You read right...$0.95!  The first pack of these that I bought when they came out I think I paid around $4.60/100.  So, I bought all they had.  Should keep me in primers for awhile!

I had good luck with the Kleenbores, I tried them in my new Pro-hunter Encore, I am using triple 7 powder. My next primer to try is the Winchester triple 7 primer.

I tried the winchester triple 7 primers yesterday. I had poor results with them same crud ring and no better accuracy than the cci primers I was using. This was in my sidekick. I am planning to get the 25 acp conversion for it but since I just got the gun I bought a pack of these to give them a try. Maybe I am just used to the 25 acp which is much less. Ordering one today for it.
