ive probobly shot 500 of these pretty blue  bullets thru my hornet and 223 , they work great , never noticed anything  that stood out  from them , but if you  can get thm on sale  buy them, they are a good bullet, i used them in a 223 on top of BLC-2  powder

The coating on the outside of the bullit doesnt mess up the barrel? I heard once, a while back that that stuff fills up the rifleing and can eventualy deamage the barrel. Have you guys ever heard any thing like this?

I've never heard of this personally.
But I have shot them a lot in my 223. It's one of the most accurate bullets I have used in mine.
They are a little pricey though, still a great bullet and tear up a varmint. I'd recomend them.

I shot hundreds of them through my 22-250, they are about 100fps faster than the un-coated bullets, I think they are out of production now, so buy up what you can find.  I used the 40gr ones, and they could make over 4,300fps in a standard 22-250.  The Barnes Varmintathor is the same bulet without the coating.  I never had any problems cleaning up the coatings.  Larry
