Muzzle Flip on Contender?
« on: August 17, 2006, 10:03:33 AM »
Have not been shooting my TCU much but have had it about 17 years. When I shoot of sand bangs the gun wants to flip up and to the right. Any idea what Im doing wrong or is this normal?

Just so I get my time line correct is this a 'pre break' problem. Nothing has changed in 17 years....yes the gun will recoil....maybe to the right depends on your hold and rifling twist. Besides ...........lets see.....break or no break, muzzle flip, hearing protection or not, length of barrel, concerns about re-scoping it to a much more difficult scope to work with and fear of shooting it... are we covered ?

Your primary purpose whilst using a gun is to hit what you are aiming at..........do you do that ?? If so your list of problems is very very short.
