Butterfly Knife

I went to a knife / gun show today to buy a Weidmannshiel pearl handle knife. that was all I wanted.......I never saw one.  I saw one of the dealers showing how to use a butterfly knife......no...not for me. I walked around for a while but found myself walking back to the table. They are completely out of character so what did I do? I bought one. They are kinda cool......I had to go home with something....Jim

I used to love butterfly knives when I was a teen.  Something about hte flair of opening them.  As a matter of fact, I think I'll look one up.  You just jogged my memory.  Thanks!

Believe it or not, They are not all that difficult
to master, It just takes practice. When I was in Law
enforcement, I carried one on my duty belt. The Sheriff
didn't really like the Idea of carrying a fixed blade knife.
But He didn't mind Butterflies. This was after I convinced
him of the merrits of a knife that could be opened with one hand.
That knife is now serving in the CIA with a friend of mine.
I gave it to him when I left the dept.

    Just one cut, but it ws a good one. Lesson learned always grasp the handle with out the clasp...Jim
