700x in 45 lc's

 got a deal on 700 x powder , anyone ever loaded it in the  45 longcolt probobly use a 200 gr bullet???

I think it was a Mike Venturino article, comparing .45 Colt and .44-40 loads.  I seem to recall that he had good results in both, with 700X at about 7 grains.  Look it up before you take my word.

thanks i found a load for them  it starts at 5 gr of 700x  for 250 gr and 6.0 for 200  those are starting  loads , iam loading some for this weekends shoot,

looks good man thanks , iam also goin to try some 160 gr bullets my local  bulletsmith is makin now for 45 acp, i loaded some last night with , 7gr of trail boss, they are a semi wadcutter,  dont look  real cowboy, but they should  shoot well iam goin to stop by the range today an send a few down range, wonder if anyine  makes a 160 rnfp? would make a great little rifle round???
