Hernando Sportsman Cannon Shoot May 2010

 It was a perfect day at the range. It was bright, clear and sunny! The turn out was a bit low, but, we had fun anyway....   The only down side of the day was we could not hit the Broad Side of an SUV!!!!  

 The SUV was about 165 meters away. I think it had a Howitzer force field around it. Those candle pin balls were hookin' left and right in front of it.

  Also, the next Central Florida Cannon shoot at the Hernando Sportsman Club will be October 24th. 2010. So, mark your calender!

Are shorts mandatory?  I think I sold my SA shorts at the last Montana yard sale...no need for bad weather gear up here. 

I mention this to the wife last night and she said the same thing I said, don't tell my sister.

 Nope, shorts are not required. We always have scissors if needed.

 I assume you are talking about Vicksburg, FL? If so, I'm 2000+ miles away.    But, Vicksburg is about 286 miles away from the range.

     Since the Hernando Sportsman's Club is about 10 miles north of the intersection of state routes 50 and 55 and that place is about a mile north east of Weeki Wachee, Florida, that means Vicksburg, Mississippi is 550 miles from that Florida Cannon Shoot.  There, is that enough information for you.  Can you make a decision now?  Can you?  Well?

I'm in Fl, and I'm not sure if I have a pair of shorts.  I wear jeans all year long, regardless of what I'm doing.  Funny about that - when I was a kid, I didn't own anything but shorts - even wore them to church.  Ah, how people change...their shorts.

Why do I have make a decision?  It's to close to my sister. That decides it, just to far to go.  Proximity to Vicksberg , could sway me, but 500 miles does not do it.  Weather bad enough to require short pants, ain't no way I am going there.

But with us posting back and forth we keep this post up on top of the board and expose it to more people.  Someone might look and say hey, I think I'll go and shoot with those guys.!!!  Good for them and good for the gun club.
