I prefer to buy goods made in America whenever possible. However, since Winchesters aren't being made in th US any longer, I'm glad to see that they will be made by a firm that has long produced quality firearms. Browning has historically had their designs made by another manufacturer. That doesn't bother me at all. When the new Model 70s and 94s show up in gunshops, I'll bet they will be first rate. My repro Model 1886, 92, and 52 are all quite well made.
