Spring Turkey Hunting
« on: August 01, 2006, 10:01:05 AM »
Howdy! I have been wanting to go turkey hunting in the Spring time for a long time. One thing that has kept me from going is a fear of poisonous snakes.  What can be done to minimize snake encounters while turkey hunting and what works for you?  Your views appreciated.  Always, Gene

I've got the "snake proof" boots but I've never had a snake test them.  They are nearly knee high and double as great creek crossing boots.
