I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.

I have a Signature 1.5x6 that's a pre Select series scope and I love it. It seems to me there are three camps, one hates Burris scopes, one that loves them, and the other has never owned one. I also have a Pentax Lightseeker 2x8 made by Burris. I like both better than my Leupold VX2 1x4. The VX2 is ok, I just like the other two better... and now I wait for the "wrath" of Redhawk and the clan of Leupold lovers.  ;)

Burris scopes are very good.   I have a signature in 4x16x44, and a signature in 3x9x40 they're both great scopes and have repeatable click adjustments.   The glass is clear and I just bought a Burris Xtreme Tactical in 3x12x50 for my Bushy Predator AR15.

thanks for the info i'm thinking about the 3x12x44 signature select for my savage 300 win mag when i get it. cause for a high powered rifle i dont like having a 9 power scope already have one of those on my 30-06, but i need a low power like a 3 or so as well when stalking game. of course burris signature zee rings are a must for me as well.

Trey;

I purchased a Signature Select 3x12 from Optic Zone for my Ruger No. 1 30-06 and I have been very happy with it.  My only grip is that I like to use Butler Creek flip open caps on my scope and the Signature Select scopes eye piece rotates as you change the power setting so the scope cap rotates as well.  Small detail, but it is still an irritant, but still a great scope.  Good optical quality and I like the ballstic plex reticle.  Buy one you won't be sorry.
