Think Crosman, but don't expect the CO2 cartridge to stay charged during storage of any duration.

A Walther PPK or PPKS has a 14 BB Magazine.
You may be able to install a powerlet and not puncture it until you are ready. I can in a CP-88.
Have you looked at any of the auction sites like
http://www.auctionarms.com/
http://www.gunbroker.com/
http://www.ebay.com/
A starter pistol should scare away a stray dog or cat.

Have a nice day,

My CP 99 and S&W revolver stay charged for 2-3 weeks at a time.  The Smith is the most realistic and sells for about 160.00 and you might wear those others out but this one you will keep. Both made by Walther.  The Gamo P88 I found to be acceptable and readily available at Wal Marts.  It sell for around 80.00. Luck.
