Gluing a broken stock
« on: September 28, 2006, 10:53:02 PM »
Is "Gorilla Glue" an appropriate product for binding a cracked stock on a Win. Classic Featherweight?  Mine is cracked from the bottom of the bolt detent, where the bolt handle comes to rest, forward for 4 inches.  The crack has not affected its accuracy other than to drive me nuts at the sight of it and knowing that I "did the deed" that dropped it out of the tree stand and cracked it in the first place.

I believe you'd do better asking this on the gunsmithing forum.
