.45 Colt Bisley

Hi everybody..........first time posting on this forum of the website. I was at a gunshop Sunday & spotted a used, blue, 7-1/2" bbl for $459 & change. I could tell it was used cause the front face of the cylinder evidenced firing. Isn't this very close to the price of a new gun? I'd like your thoughts, & thanx, JD45

I would say that is about MSRP price.

I paid $300 for a used, but in good shape, blued 7 1/2 Bisley .45 in Michigan a few months ago.

  $459 for a used one!?     You can easily find new for that and for a wee bit more get one of the Acusport ones.

I bought one new 2 years ago for $390.00 plus tax. That sounds awful high for a used one. Like the guy said for a little more you could get the stainless one from Accusport.

Been tryin to get ahold of anyone at AccuSport.........no luck so far. Anyone know how the .45 cylinders are coming thru?......namely what size is the loading end bored to.......nearer the minimum SAAMI dims, now?........say .483"or so? Or still close to max? Also, how 'bout the throats? .452-.453? or still tight, like .448-.449" Thanx, JD45
