ANYONE TRIED THE NEW WINCHESTER SXR OR REMINGTON 750 ???
« on: October 15, 2006, 09:48:21 AM »
its looks really nice in the pic ..but dont they all lol . i was wondering if anyone has had a chance to use one and their opinion on it . i know i want a 30-06 , i would love a BAR but its just out of my price range as is the benelli R1 .after reading a lot of forums i just have a nagging suspicion concerning the reliability of the 7400 , i am interested in the its replacement the 750 . anyone know the street prices of the SXR or the rem 750 ??
thanks for your replies

The Winchester SXR is just based on the Browning BAR its not like it's of it's own they threw a Euro type style onto it with a suggested price of $839 its not cheep in my book look in this months American Rifleman it has a article in there. Good luck with your selection I would go with a Remington 750 in 35 Whelen and not look back just my 2 cents

I have Remington Model 750 Woodsmaster carbine in .308 winchester. I love it.. Cant wait go hunting with that gun. My friend owned New Winchester SXR in .30-06 and he like it so...
