That one is only as accurate as the person installing it.  I don't know how much difference it makes on firearms, but I use this one on my airgun.  It mounts to the scope rail of the gun.  It makes a large difference when you are trying to shoot at 50+ yards with them.

I use:

Two USO swivel base mount

and one
http://www.scoplevel.com/

Those are viewable while in aiming position.
Don't forget that they could be quite close and depending on eyes more or less viewable.

It help in two ways:
. Anti-cant, obvious
. Concentrate, why take care of canting if being loose elsewhere (for me it works).

One of these scope levels is money well spend for any one that likes to shoot long range. I have had a scope level for many years and like it very much on my 25-06 Antelope rifle. Not that I like to shoot Antelope at long range, but many times that is the only chance you have.

At 450 yrds a small cant can easy become a miss or a gut shot animal.

Which one of these works the best?
Is there a style for non-scoped rifles?  Or is that the kind that has a level mounted on the front globe sight?
Seems like a really good idea, but I have no experience.
Thanks for discussion, always learning something in this forum.

Thanks fellas. With the ranges I am going to be shooting with my 308, I will definately be buying one form or another. I have talked to a couple guys that use them, and they swear by them.
