New Mathews Switchback XT Being Introduced This Season ???
« on: December 18, 2006, 12:42:19 PM »
I have read on several forums including this one that Mathews has decided to introduce a new bow either by this upcoming Christmas season or by the time of the Shot Show.  Of course, this is only based upon conjecture and not necessarily based upon fact.

Does anyone have any concrete knowledge that a new bow either in the Switchback line or to replace the Switchback entirely has or will be introduced this season?

I have a Hoyt recurve purchased in 1970 that is screaming for retirement ----- but I've been screaming for retirement as well.

Thanks,

Jay

P.S. I have not heard any negative reviews of the Switchback XT, although I have heard stories that the Mathews support staff can act aloff and be less than helpful.  Is there anyone who has purchased a Switchback XT and been disappointed with its performance or quality???

That's right, the drenalin. I love my matthews legacy but when they come out with a new bow almost every year it makes me wonder. Are they really making progress in technology by leaps and bounds or are they just trying to get people to buy the latest model?
