Simmons Pro Hunter Handgun scopes
« on: September 05, 2006, 09:08:02 AM »
Has anyone had any experience with these scopes?  I am thinking about putting on on my 10 inch 44mag barrell.  I am replacing a red dot sight.

WN,

I mounted a Simmons Pro Hunter on my S&W 629 Classic 44 mag about 2 years ago. I shoot mild to full house loads and this scope has not moved from it's orginal setting yet.

It's accurate and clear.

I think that says a whole bunch for a scope that cost around $100.

Yeah....buy it. I don't think you will be disapointed.

Dave.

Got one mounted on a .300 Whisper..which isn't a thumper, but it gets shot alot..it hasn't moved either..good deal for the money I believe.

Go for it.  Good scopes for the money.  Mine is on a 7-30 Waters - no problems here.
