nikon buckmaster binos. are they monarch atb???

Hi guys. local shop has nikon buckmaster binos on clearance. But of course the kid at the counter knows nothing about them. are they monarch ATBs?? they look exactly the same. same specs. looking for a positive answer. Nikon hasn't replied yet.   thanks dcl

Nikon Buckmasters are not Nikon Monarch ATBs.  I haven't seen anywhere on the Nikon Buckmasters binoculars where it says Monarch ATB have you?  The Nikon Buckmasters are not waterproof, are not phase corrected, are not fully multicoated and are being discontinued.  In other words, not worth the money.
