Turkey barrel for encore.

I am planning to buy a turkey barrel for my encore. I have heard that the forearm from my .50 cal muzzleloader will work for the 12 ga barrel. Can anyone confirm this?

The spacing of the screw holes appear to be the same, but the screws are different sizes.
