.357 herret in m94????

traded into a shot-out, beat-up, pitted m94.... barrel is useless unless i need another door-stop....i like my 357 herret..... shoot it in a 10" t/c contender... and have over 100 loaded rounds, over 100 fiire-formed single batch cases, and a good 200gr load.... thinking about an octagon 18" barrel, thenn case-harden the receiver.... got wood off of ebay.....all it will take is $$$$.... opinions???... thanks..jim

Hey Jim,

I actually looked into doing this not tto long ago and the only thing that held me back was the sheer cost of having it done. If you can do it, then by all means, I would. If the money will be a deciding factor, you'd be better off buying a whole new rifle.

I believe that one of our sponsors SSK Industries www.sskindustries.com can fix you right up with that. I think it should be a simple matter of rebarrelling it. Shouldn't be any big feeding problems to work out I'd not think.
