I should probably tell everyone that I am an Engineering student and probably think about making stuff to much for my own good.
Looking at that site, I notice they dont have any 25 calibers which is a kicker because I love 25 cals, I was also thinking how do you get the spent shell out of the chamber?
I like the idea and wonder if a guy could make his own if he has a lathe and some time on his hands using good name brand barrels. Another thing I was thinking about is what if you took a shot gun barrel lets say 20 gauge barrel chopped it off at 12" or so to get you enough so you can still use the forearm screw fitted a rifle barrel into 12" of barrel, then ran a weld around the end of the shot barrel to hold your rifled barrel in. Spin that in a lathe and clean up the weld to make it nice and round. Then chamber it in something you want. Have sort of a Mauser style step down barrel. Drill and tap that for a scope and be done with it.......should be cheaper then having a rebore job if you use an Adams and Bennett barrel or a donor from a custom project.
Any thoughts?
