« on: September 11, 2006, 01:31:21 PM »
Hi ive been browsing these forums for awhile now and thought it was time to join, i recently purchased a Leupold VXIII in 2.5-8x36 and mounted it on my Ruger M77 MKI ultralight in .308 to replace my old m8 4x, jst curious as to what everyones opinion is on this scope, is it a good choice for this rifle? any issues with this particular scope?
Thanks in Advance

It's a very good scope and a very good rifle.......I'm thinking about putting the same scope on my ruger ultra light......I've looked though one many times and it's about as clear and bright as any other scope out there......

Should be a good match.......let me know how you like it after you've used the combination for awhile......VC

That is probably one of the best and most useful scopes available.

You`ll be very pleased with it. I got acouple of them with LER for handguns but none for rifles. Actucally I have abt. 30 Leupold scopes around here and I`ve never had one that didn`t work well. The main thing is matching the magnifaction to the use.
