Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking a little while and I want to say this site is awesome! I've owned a 223 ultra since 96-97 (can't rem.) I bought a 308 survivor in 2000 and immediately switched the stocks. My cases have always stuck and I just used a rod to push it out. After reading posts here for hours! I got up the nerve to disassemble the ejector and remove all the oil that I'd been using in hopes of making it eject.
I went ahead and put it all back together and even switched back the stocks. Well guess what!? It's working!! I still plan to clean/polish the chamber.
My question is this, could the different stocks played a part at all? I've noticed that there is an * on some barrels. I think that means they only fit on certain year/type rifles.
Thanks in advance for any input.
