Big Game Air rifles ?
« on: October 11, 2006, 07:22:00 AM »
I can not remember the name of the rifle this guy had
but it was firing cast soft lead .45 caliber bullets at a pretty impressive velocity.
It shot through a 200+ pound Hog at about 40 meters !
I have looked up Big Bore air rifles on the internet and have found nothing like it.
He stood on something on the rifle and lifted it up to cock it.
Does this sound familiar to any of you. If so, where can I get one!

there are Korean air rifles in the 9mm, .45 and .50 caliber versions.
Pyramydair has them, at the link http://pyramidair.com/cgi-bin/show.pl?cmd_rifles=show_menu

I had a 9mm Career 707 ultra that was a 6 shot lever action and would push a 76 gr pellet out at around 900 FPS.

Also there are air gun hunting stories on http://www.adventuresinairguns.com/
