Anyone reloading .223 with 63 grain softies
« on: September 19, 2006, 12:37:21 PM »
When to a local gun shot looking for some deals and steals. I was talking to the owner and he said he got a box that needs sorting throught. I find about 200 63 grain soft tipped jacked bullets for reloading in .223. My manual doesnt cover 63 grain with H4198 powder. Does anyone reload using this combo?

The Hodgdon 2006 Annual (available at Walmart for $7, btw ;)) shows a start load of 18gr, and max of 20gr H4198 for the 63gr Sierra SP, COL 2.20", win brass, win SR primer.
