Fall turkey

Yep ,spot and stalk on a turkey into bow range is a tuff one all right. Good luck to you. When you get one, you will have earned it . Is the fall season a Tom or a hen kind of deal in KY?  D.C.

I like to bust up a bunch and make the "kee, kee" call. Its a old hens "gathering up the lost ones call" Bust em' up, set up and call em' back in.

 sounds like you speak turkey. that is a good thing to know. I have never had the time to chase the turkeys in the fall. A situation I think it is high time I fixed.  In the spring I have a buddy that is a great bird caller. that is something I will miss. Guess it is time I became a better caller. I can get them to come in ,but not like my buddy.  I can scare um off too. I dont speak turkey fluently. so for me by myself less, is sometimes better.  good to know that you can get them to come back  to you in the fall. good luck.  D.C.
