I just purchased a Apex 50 cal, put BSA Catseye 3-10x44 in T/C Gorilla Grip bases and rings, has anyone used this rifle and or the Catseye? What load would u suggest for Mule Deer to 200yds? It is a nice setup and should do the job. Jess

I just bought one myself. A very handsome rifle for the price, and has a good trigger too. I'm starting with 100 grains of loose BlackMag 2 powder behind a 250 grain Hornady SST. With that 29 inch barrel, it should be a good long range load.
