LBT Blue lube, is it as good as Veral Smith say's it is, or is it all hype?
I've been using 50/50 alox for years. Is it worth the extra cost of switching to LBT Blue?

ITs good lube. Id rate it a little better then ALox especially for rifle velocitys. But i think the lube i make is every bit as good and theres a few others selling comparable lubes.

what i make now is felix lube with about 1/4 magma blue hard or a comparable hard lube added to firm it up and i also add  about a half a cup of corduba wax and about a 1/3 of a bottle of lee alox to a 3lb batch. Its not an easy lube to make but it works as well as anything ive ever tried.
What's your recipe, Lloyd?

 NQuintel

The soft lube option we offered at Dry Creek Bullets was LBT Blue. This is LBT's middle grade in hardness. We used Apache Blue when we started the soft lube option but it was a little sticky to ship over the nation plus it came in a can instead of stick form. My customers like both these lubes. The bullets with LBT Blue we sent to the gun publications received no complaints from the writers but most importantly I never had a lube complaint from a customer. As to what it's worth? Only you can make that call.
