Blue vs Stainless

Is there any real advantage to stainless over blue in an inline muzzleloader.  With proper care I have had a blue ML for many years without issue.  Why do so many opt for the stainless?

If you go some where and you can't clean you gun and you are exposed to wet weather the stainless is not rust as quick as the blued guns. Even though it my only be surface rust is can and will migrate to other parts that are unseen. Also some people just like the look of a stainless gun.

On top of what Redhawk1 mentioned, stainless will keep your barrel slightly cooler in side-to-side shot comparisons with a blued barrel. They are easier to clean and easier to sell as used. They also help hold the ML's resale value higher than blued. Personally, I like both. The barrel finish I do not like and will never own again is nickel.
