Buckmarks, why the price spread?

I have been thinking about a Buckmark, while their cheaper models seem like they would be ok, and the price is not too bad, I would really like their long barreled, scope ready models.  But, wow look at how expensive they get, around $500.00 or so.  Why the price spread for a longer barrel with scope mount potential? 

I heard that the triggers are different, if so, how?

My son just bought a special Buckmarki with cocobolo grips, a long heavy barrel, and fiber optic sights for $305.00.  It has a good trigger and shoots like crazy.  It doesn't have the barrel length rail that mine has, but it has a built in rail for mounting a scope or red dot.

He had trouble with the first barrel it had on it when new.  It leaded up like crazy near the chamber causing bullets to tumble into the target.  Browning replaced the barrel for no charge and now it is great.

It's mostly in the cosmetics. The lower cost models have plain finish and plastic grips. The really expensive ones are fancier. The target and silhouette models used to have an easily adjustable trigger, but I don't know if that is still true.
