I have a 20 Vartarg in a cooper and it is awesome.  I also have the little sister 17 Mach IV that is based on the same case (necked down from 221 fireball brass) this is on my encore frame.  I bought it from Matchgrademachine.com they make awesome barrels and can make you a 20 Vartarg.  The Mach IV is a tack driving machine shoots in the 3's pretty consistently.

Hi motivatio,
I've had 2 Coopers in 17M4, so I know what a great cartridge that is. I never liked the M21 because the action is too long for the 223 family (IMO).
I just found out that Cooper now offers the 223's in their smaller M38. Everybody else has probably known that for a long time  :o
SOOOO now I'm lookin' to get a M38 in 20 Vartarg.
