Handi Trigger
« on: October 03, 2006, 10:17:30 AM »
The trigger on my handi right from the factory is 2.5 lbs. and just as crisp and clean as any shooter could ask for, is this normal? Has anyone else had a handi with this nice of a trigger right out of the factory? I want another handi worst than bad, do you think I would be so lucky as to get another one with a trigger like that? Maybe I won't get another one, maybe I'll just send my reciever in for a couple new barrels? What's everybody think?

It seems that most newer Handis have very good triggers, around 3-5lb range, 2.5 is a nice setting.
Another SB-2 receiver is always good to have around, for when you decide to send off for extra barrels and aren't left Handiless..... and it has begun 8)

I've got a bunch like that, but most I have made that way with a home trigger hone, few of my 22 frames came with good triggers, but I haven't bought a new one for a while either, the last one had about a 4lb trigger out of the box. Lots of folks have reported good triggers lately, it seems to be the norm now. More than likely H&R got tired of doing free trigger jobs after the fact and started doing them good from the get go, we'd like to think so, anyway! ;) As Aaron said, having more than one frame has its advantages!!
