the Quad
« on: October 04, 2006, 06:22:49 AM »
i saw a rifle called the Quad in outdoor life and for 1,995 for a set of 4 barrels, this one gun can shoot 4 cal. with diffenets barrels, the cals. are 22LR, 17mach 2, 22WMR, and 17HMR. Is the 17HMR or 17mach 2 a batter 17? also to me all you would need is the 22LR for small game and the 17HMR for small predators.

I would keep the .22 WMR.  While it doesn't have the ballistics of the 17HMR it does have more energy.  In short, it is a better rifle for game over 15 to 20 pounds.
