They look like Weaver Quad Locks, but I can't really tell from the pic. Now that I really look, it has a different front ring....looks familair ???
However thats a nice stock set, some great striping in there 8)

Good memory Tim.  Yep that's my rifle, knife and axe.  The rear ring is a standard Hi Weaver ring.  The front ring is a Weaver extension ring turned backwards to give me enough room to move the scope back.  I probably coulda mounted it on the rear like you're supposed to, but that's the setup I had when I was using the Burris before I put the Leupold on. I just did the same thing.  Works either way.  Have no idea what the ring number is....had them for 14/15 years now.

 I do not have the PN's either. but I will add, that at 14-15 years they are not Quad locks or 4X4's. They wherent made till about 7-8 years ago. Although I know you could get the SAME thing in a Weaver 4X4 / QUAD lock now. I used them alot on my handis.



 I also used them until I found the Leupold PRW rings. I like them worlds better, but they wont work with all scopes, the clearance with the hammer is very close but it works PERFECT with the leupold 2X7X32 VXii's I like so much.

Do you have the P/N for the Leupold PRW rings on your rifle.  I want to mount my Leupold 2X7 Rifleman on my .45-70.

They sell those Marble's axes on eBay pretty cheap.  They are made in China I believe but so is about everything else these days.

BTW I like MEDIUM MATT PRW's best, but even the HIGH is not much taller.

I ordered mine from Ragnar over at http://www.ragweedforge.com. It is the Marble's Hunter's Axe.  Great guy and great service.  I had it the next day. Yeah, it's made in China, but it's well made.  The head is out of nicely convexed and HT'd  5160 and holds a great edge. Makes a nice little skinning axe also.  I"ve even skinned out squirrels with mine.   SMKW offers them at a cheaper price, but the ones they offer seem to be seconds.  I"ve heard some folks have had problems with those.  After 3 years and a lot of use, my axe is still as tight as the day I bought it.  The only thing I've done to it was strip the varnish off the handle and stain it with the same leather dye I used on the rifle; and then finish it with Teak Oil.

OT, but it'll be more than that once you go over the $25 min purchase, or $5.94 with the $3 surcharge for less than min purchase. Check out Grafs.com, they have a flat rate $3.95 shipping regardless of the order amount or weight. I just bought a Lee Classic turret press, shipping was $3.95.

I always used weaver or leupold rings in the past.  Bought a set of Warne steel rings.  They are absolutely the most solid I have seen.  And they fit my survivor purfect in Med hight. 
Highly reccomend them.
